Bio: The Spanish Channel is a melodic power trio -- way-catchy uptempo alt-rock with harmony vocals. Each song is a miniature movie of life in New York City; all lust, tears, screams, and big drums. The band lives in Brooklyn, NY, and rocks like Foo Fighters, Weezer, Fountains of Wayne, The Cars, Maroon 5, Ben Folds, Lit, and fun.

- A sold-out NYC CD Release Show

- Winner in the Midas Rock The Highway national band contest

- A mention in the November 2010 issue of Spin Magazine

- Performances at Atlantic City's Caesar’s Palace & L.A’s House of Blues


In addition, the band wrote and recorded the theme for the Federal Hockey League’s Danbury Whalers and wrote and produced a TV commercial for LandlordLinks.net. They’ve performed live on Wesleyan University WESU-FM & Western Connecticut State University WXCI-FM, and they’ve been featured guests on The Real Radio Show on WRCN-FM in NY. The band headlined the inaugural Big Apple Indie Music Series in NYC, and just completed a California tour. They are now touring the eastern US.


The Spanish Channel is: Jaime Garamella (lead vocals, guitar, bass), Lauren Stockner (lead guitar, bass, vocals) and Bruce Hordon (drums, vocals).
